Nine Canadian Screen Awards (CSAs) were  presented to 12 SOCAN members between May 30 and June 1, 2025, in Toronto, for their exceptional work in screen composing or songwriting for the screen.

SOCAN held a cocktail reception and educational panel, Stories Behind The Cue: Celebrating SOCAN’s CSA-Nominated Composers, at The Rivoli, in downtown Toronto, on Sunday afternoon, June 1st. During the panel portion of the event, screen composers Katie Austra Stelmanis, Nikhil Seetharam, Orin Isaacs, Lora Bidner, Spencer Creaghan, and Darren Fung shared their production hacks, creative war stories, and musical genius, in a behind-the-scenes look at what makes them some of the best in the business.
