During the ADISQ 2025 Premier Gala on Nov. 5, Klô Pelgag highlighted the strong presence of women among this year’s nominees. So, it was only fitting that a queen be crowned – and Lou-Adriane Cassidy reigned supreme, sweeping all four categories in which she was nominated at the main ADISQ Gala on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025.
These four Félix awards – for Songwriter (shared with Alexandre Martel), Female Artist, Song (“Dis-moi, dis-moi, dis-moi”), and Live Show of the Year – join the eight others that she received at the first two galas, bringing her total to 12 honours! We caught up with a beaming and slightly stunned Cassidy in the press room after the gala:
The main Gala, hosted by comedian and SOCAN member Pierre-Yves Roy Desmarais, also saw Pierre Lapointe take home his very first Félix for Male Artist of the Year, having been nominated in the category many times in the past. Meanwhile, Aliocha Schneider won the Artist of the Year – International Impact award, following an exceptional year in France that included three nominations at the Victoires de la musique in February of 2025.
Newcomer Billie du Page, who made a splash on the Québec music scene with her instant hit “Fake Friends,” was named Breakout Artist of the Year. Elsewhere, veteran band Les Cowboys Fringants took home the Félix for Album of the Year – Popular Success for Pub Royal, a final farewell following the passing of lead singer Karl Tremblay.
Duo 2Frères won the Group or Duo of the Year award for the third time in their career. And finally, Elisapie – who’s been racking up accolades over the past two years at both the ADISQ Awards and the JUNOs – received the Félix for Indigenous Artist of the Year, presented to her by Florent Vollant (formerly of Kashtin), a key figure in the development of Indigenous music in Québec.

The awards ceremony also featured several standout performances by SOCAN members, including a joint song by Lou-Adriane Cassidy and Ariane Roy that celebrated both their friendship and their immense talent. Ariane Moffatt and Klô Pelgag also performed together, starting gently at the piano before bursting into an electrifying full-stage performance.
The evening kicked off on a high note with an opening performance by Billie du Page, Fredz, and Jay Scøtt, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. That energy carried through into a tribute to the legendary Marjo – who, true to form, didn’t stay seated to receive it, instead launching into a medley of her greatest hits with the trademark energy for which she’s known. Rap was represented by another duo, Sarahmée and Rymz, while the excitement of Québec’s new country wave was celebrated by a lineup featuring Matt Lang, Krystel Mongeau, Francis Degrandpré, and Clément Jacques. Finally, Pierre Lapointe and Soleil Launière each delivered intimate and moving solo performances.
SOCAN’s Communications & Marketing team – Eric Parazelli, Marie-Michèle Bouchard, and Thalia Chaput – was on-site, both on the red carpet and in the press room, gathering reactions from nominees and winners. Also in attendance were SOCAN Board Chair and President Marc Ouellet; Executive Director of Québec Affairs Alexandre Alonso; Creative Executive Gaby Gauthier-Durand; Head of Reproduction Rights Martin Lavallée; Quebec Affairs and Communications Specialist Éloïse Thibault; and Gala, Programming & Partnerships Lead Tessy Pokuah Paquin, all showing their unwavering support for members of the extended SOCAN family.
