Jeremie Albino has travelled the highway straight to a SOCAN No. 1 Song Award, for co-writing “Rolling Down The 405” which topped on the CBC Music Top 20 on Dec 12, 2024.
“Rolling Down The 405,” performed by Albino, was co-written by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys (who also produced), Nashville singer-songwriter Pat McLaughlin, and songwriter-producer DAWProfit (aka Dan Profit). Their ode the major California North-South interstate highway is published by Songtrust Boulevard and Corn Country Music.
Liam Russell, SOCAN Creative Executive, Los Angeles and Nashville, presented the award plaque to Albino at the Mattachioni restaurant in Toronto’s Junction neighbourhood, on June 18, 2025.
