The nominations for the 2025 ADISQ Gala have been announced. In all, 256 albums, 78 live shows, and 41 music videos were submitted for the eligibility period from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025. A total of 56 Félix Awards will be presented across three events: the Industry Gala, on Nov. 5, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at Piano Nobile in Place des Arts; the ADISQ Premier Gala, on Nov. 5, 2025, at MTELUS, broadcast on Télé-Québec at 8:00 p.m.; and the ADISQ Gala, on Nov. 9 at 8:00 p.m., on ICI Radio-Canada Télé.
Hosting duties will once again be taken on by SOCAN member Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais, returning for a second year at the helm of the ADISQ Gala, while fellow SOCAN member Sarahmée will host the Premier Gala. Ever faithful to her role, Claudine Prévost will preside over the Industry Gala for the 20th consecutive year.
Leading the pack this year are Lou-Adriane Cassidy, Klô Pelgag, Pierre Lapointe, and Jay Scøtt, each scoring six artistic nods. Hot on their heels is Avec pas d’casque with five, while Fredz and Roxane Bruneau each snag four. Three-time nominees include Ariane Roy, Elisapie, Ariane Moffatt, 2Frères, Alex Henry Foster, Aliocha Schneider, Billie du Page, and Souldia. When the “industry” nominations are added to the mix – those awarded to the artist, or tied to their projects – Klô Pelgag and Lou-Adriane Cassidy pull way ahead, each boasting an impressive 13 mentions in total.
Once again this year, songwriters, composers, and SOCAN members will have the opportunity to stand out in various categories, including the prestigious Author or Composer of the Year Award:
- Antoine Corriveau for Oiseau de nuit
- Ariane Roy for Dogue
- Stéphane Lafleur, Mathieu Charbonneau, Nicolas Moussette, Joël Vaudreuil as the band Avec pas d’casque for Cardinal
- Klô Pelgag for Abracadabra
- Lou-Adriane Cassidy and Alexandre Martel for Journal d’un Loup-Garou
- Pierre Lapointe for Dix chansons démodées pour ceux qui ont le cœur abîmé
As always, SOCAN and Paroles & Musique will cover both televised galas. The Publishing Team of the Year Award is also back, thanks to the Association des Professionnels de l’Édition Musicale (APEM), which successfully pushed to re-instate the category in 2023. The nominated teams are:
