The second edition of SOCAN’s Connexion event was held June 17, 2024, at Place Ville-Marie’s Cathcart, in the heart of downtown Montréal, while the Francofolies festival was taking a quick break from its schedule of live performances.
It was an opportunity for nearly 150 SOCAN members, representatives of Québec’s music ecosystem, and SOCAN employees to meet in person, exchange ideas, network, and – who knows – maybe even lay the foundations for future collaborations.
SOCAN CEO Jennifer Brown, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors Marc Ouellet, and several SOCAN executives were on hand for the event, hosted by a fiery hot DJ duo featuring Virginie B and Super Plage.
SOCAN’s Connexion events play a key role in creating a sense of belonging among its various communities. It’s a pleasure to see people from such diverse backgrounds come together under one roof to celebrate their shared passion for music.
This edition’s success underscores the SOCAN’s commitment to fostering prosperous collaborations for its members, in Québec, and across Canada.
