SOCAN honours Jordon Manswell with No. 1 Song Award

SOCAN honoured Jordon Manswell with a SOCAN No. 1 Song Award, on March 18, 2019, in our Toronto office. SOCAN’s Melissa Cameron-Passley and Peter Fera presented the award, and congratulated Manswell, as well as his manager, Jermayne Clayton, of Rival Music Group Ltd., and Asim “Awesome” Awan, Founder of Awesome Music.
SOCAN recognized Manswell for co-writing Daniel Caesar’s “We Find Love,” along with Caesar, Matthew Burnett, Jordan Evans, Wesley Allen, and Nevon Sinclair. The song, co-published by EMI April Music Publishing Canada Ltd. and Sony/ATV Music Publishing Canada, topped the MuchMusic Countdown Chart on Nov. 10, 2018.
