The 2025 edition of Coup de cœur francophone lit up Montréal from Nov. 6 to 16, with more than 80 concerts, across 15 venues, offering a vibrant snapshot of Francophone music in Canada. The festival opened with performances by Bibi Club, Rau_ze, and Bon Enfant in three of Montréal’s iconic venues: Quai des Brumes, celebrating its 40th Anniversary; Rockette Bar; and L’Esco. It was a fitting tribute to the venues that help launch the next generation.

This eclectic edition showcased both established voices and exciting newcomers, such as Klô Pelgag, Dumas, Marie-Pierre Arthur, Rosie Valland, Qualité Motel, Velours Velours, Mon Doux Saigneur, Virginie B, Alex Burger, and many more. Throughout the lineup, cultural diversity took centre stage, with standout performances by Laura Niquay, Mimi O’Bonsawin, and Swiss artists like Flèche Love, Milla Pluton, and Bandit Voyage. Francophone voices from across the country were also well represented, by the likes of P’tit Béliveau, Étienne Fletcher, Thomé Young, and Les Hay Babies.

At the same time, a festival tour made its way through 42 Canadian cities between October and December of 2025 to mark the 30th Anniversary of the Réseau Coup de cœur francophone. The tour brought together a wide range of artists from across the country, including Laura Niquay, Souldia, Les Hay Babies (NB), and Étienne Fletcher (SK).

It was a rich, warm, and deeply engaging edition, true to the festival mission of celebrating the full breadth and vibrancy of the Francophonie.
