SOCAN was pleased and proud to partner with Warner Music Canada (WMC) to host a large-scale song camp, on March 17-19, 2025 at both WMC’s offices and Kilometre Music Group’s studios in downtown Toronto.

Facilitated by SOCAN Creative Executive, East Coast, Houtan Hodania, Charlie B of Warner Music Canada, and Liv DuFine of Warner Chappell Music Publishing, the camp gathered songwriters, producers, and artists to co-create impactful songs with strong placement potential, thereby fostering collaboration, innovation, and meaningful connection.

The 46 camp participants were Maria Therese, TOBi, Honest Guy , Haviah Mighty, Kwazii, Casper, Gemini, J Hollywood, No Good, Ari Hicks, Good Kid, Vaughn, Nevis, Samaera, Trey Joshua, Chai Sully, Jasmine Kiara, Dallas Rodin, Sunsetto, ClickNPress, Johnny Hills, Kid Joi, Kameron Glasper, Daniel East, Sauceboy, Pyoski, Kiyoshi, Tom French, YoungTN, Figuerz Made It, Steve “Bila” Bilodeau, Nyan, Allen Ritter, Andre Denim, Adrian X, Chris LaRoca, Adam Josh, McEvoy, Frost, Lazy Eye, Joel Stouffer, Amir Jamm, Nia Nadurata, Runway The Catwalker, Danny Phantom, and Kaddy4x.

The participants  rotated between studios in groups of four, allowing for dynamic collaboration and fresh creative energy throughout the process, and encouraging diverse musical connections and maximum creative output.
