The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame (CSHF) is pleased to announce the host and initial lineup of artists confirmed to perform at the 2024 CSHF Induction Ceremony Gala at Massey Hall in Toronto, on Sept. 28, 2024. Among the performers is Gary LeVox, the frontman singer of Rascal Flatts, one of country music’s most influential bands. Rascal Flatts famously recorded Cochrane’s iconic chart-topper “Life Is a Highway” in 2005, reviving the song’s popularity for a new generation.
The CSHF is also thrilled to announce multi-platinum selling artist and television personality Marie-Mai as host of the ceremony. Marie-Mai has performed in front of two million fans, including 15 sold-out concerts at Montreal’s Bell Centre, and is a five-time ADISQ Award winner for Female Artist of the Year. This year, she’ll be a judge on Quel Talent!, Quebec’s version of the Got Talent franchise.
The first round of artists set to perform at the CSHF Induction Ceremony include:
- JUNO-nominated singer-songwriter AHI
- Multi-JUNO and CCMA Award winning, 13x-times chart-topping artist Dallas Smith
- Multi-Grammy Award winning chart-topper Gary LeVox (Rascal Flatts)
- JUNO, CCMA, and ACM Award winning country star Tenille Townes
- JUNO-winning singer-songwriter William Prince
- JUNO Award-winning duo Whitehorse
The all-star lineup of musicians will take the stage in honour of this year’s illustrious group of songwriting inductees: iconic storyteller Tom Cochrane; co-leaders of the legendary band Blue Rodeo, Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor; international star Sarah McLachlan; and pioneering Québecoise singer-songwriter Diane Tell.
More performers and presenters will be announced. Tickets for the induction ceremony are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
