Sebastian Gaskin earns SOCAN No. 1 Song Award

SOCAN was pleased and proud to present Sebastian Gaskin with a No. 1 Song Award for co-writing his song “Ghost,” which reached the zenith of the CBC Music Top 20 on June 27, 2024.

Gaskin co-wrote “Ghost” with his fellow SOCAN members Hill Kourkoutis and Justin Meli, and the song is co-published by CCS Rights Management, Daytripper, and Mystic Pigweed Publishing.

SOCAN’s Cameron Kennedy and Tanya Van Luven presented the award to Gaskin during the 2024 SOCAN Awards. The singer-songwriter was accompanied by co-writers Kourkoutis and Meli; Jodie Ferneyhough and Jordan Howard of Daytripper/CSS; and managers Joe D’Ambrosio and Dan Hand.
