SOCAN was pleased and proud to present Noah Barer with a No. 1 Song Award for co-writing “Let Me In” (recorded by K-Pop act EXO), which scaled the peak of the Billboard Hot Trending Songs chart on June 21, 2023.
Barer co-wrote “Let Me In” with fellow SOCAN member JYDN HILL – along with other, non-SOCAN songwriters – at a week-long K-Pop song camp in Korea during the summer of 2022.
SOCAN L.A. Creative Executive Racquel Villagante presented the award to Barer on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at Tartine Bakery and Café in West Hollywood. Co-writer HILL received a No. 1 trophy separately.
