The Three Days Grace song “Mayday” had it all under control, as it earned a SOCAN No. 1 Song Award for scaled the zenith of not one, but two charts: the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart, on Jan. 11, 2025; and the Mediabase Canada Active Rock Chart, on Jan. 20, 2025.
All five current members of the record-breaking hard-rock band – Neil Sanderson, Brad and Matthew Walst, Barry Stock, and Adam Gontier – co-wrote “Mayday,” which has achieved more than 12 million views on YouTube alone. The song is co-published by Wixen Music Canada, Hyvetown Music, and BMG Rights Management Canada.
SOCAN’s Houtan Hodania presented the plaque to Three Days Grace during JUNO Awards weekend, at SOCAN HQ in the Hamilton Sheraton hotel, on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
