It’s safe to say that 20-year-old Billie du Page made a huge impact on the Québec music scene in 2024 with her debut single “Fake Friends,” which has been sitting at the top of the French-language Top 100 Radio Mediabase chart since Oct. 21, 2024.

We celebrated this extraordinary achievement at Montréal’s Bowling Darling, with du Page and her co-writers lucatheproducer and BAYLA, who told us the how the earworm was created, being the very first song du Page co-wrote with BAYLA, at the age of 16, when she was still in high school.
