      It surprised me when I put on VIVICA, the newest record from multidisciplinary artist Vivek Shraya, that I didn’t really know it was her. First, a sharp swerve to sweaty dance floor inflected beats.       Last year, as part of the Polaris Prize’s 20th and SOCAN’s 100th anniversaries, the Song Prize was launched as a way to honour the Canadian song of the year.
