SOCAN was pleased and proud to present Nate Ferraro with a No. 1 Song Award for co-writing Beyoncé’s hit song “Texas Hold “Em,” which scaled the peaks of both the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart on Feb, 24, 2024, and the Billboard Hot 100 on March 2, 2024. The song has achieved almost 630 million plays on Spotify, and the visualizer and lyric videos for the song on YouTube have earned more than 80 million views in total.

Ferraro co-wrote “Texas Hold ‘Em” with, among others, SOCAN members Lowell and bülow (aka Megan Bülow), and the song is co-published by Hyvetown Music Publishing, Sony Music Publishing Canada, Kobalt Music Publishing Canada, Arts & Crafts Music, and Heart & Art Music (a division of Let Me Be Frank Inc.).

Cameron Kennedy, SOCAN Vice President, Creative and Member Relations, and Racquel Villagante, SOCAN Creative Executive, West Coast, presented the award to Ferraro on March 5, 2025, at the Superba restaurant in Hollywood, California. Feraro was accompanied by his Los Angeles managers Christina Li and Jaynie Karp, both of Nonstop Management.
