Protests in the United States, and similar actions in Toronto and Montréal, have provided a profound call for meaningful, positive change regarding the rights of the Black community.
SOCAN is joining the call for the music industry to observe Black Out Tuesday tomorrow in support of our members, employees, and the global community. All SOCAN staff will join in a day of reflection on how we, as an organization, can do even more to work for equality, diversity, and fairness – integral qualities for which SOCAN stands.
This means the company will put our usual work aside for the day, and, instead work to improve our understanding of how we can be better, as a society, as a company, and as individuals.
