  • After a year that saw the release of her debut album Rituel and several key collabs, Georgette adds another arrow to her quiver: she lends her voice to “Whip It,” the theme song for the feature film Les Furies, directed by Mélanie Charbonneau. The song, co-written with screen composer Antoine Rochette, officially launched on the radio Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, ahead of the film's release on Nov. 28. "About an hour before the first show of my fall tour, I got a call from my old friend Antoine Rochette, a seasoned composer," says Georgette. "He was working on an important song for Les Furies and was looking for ‘a singer with attitude.’ I watched the film, and loved everything about it: the obvious celebration of intersectional feminism, the well-developed characters, and the extraordinary cast. I found myself in the studio with Antoine shortly after. What was supposed to be a simple cue for the film ended up becoming a full song. An anthem to the eclectic gang of girls on the Furies team, 'Whip It' is a fierce, wild track, dripping with rainbows and joy."
