Aaron Paris and his group, Strings From Paris, hosted a free workshop at the SOCAN House studio in L.A. on June 21, 2025, aimed at classical, new-classical, and concert music string players, composers, songwriters, and producers looking to learn more about modern-day string arranging, recording, and production, and to network with other like-minded creatives.
Paris discussed techniques, tricks, and tips that he’s deployed on songs by artists with whom he’s worked, including as Ariana Grande, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Leon Thomas, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Kehlani.
The group also demonstrated some of their working processes, and answered questions to share their experiences in bringing classical sounds into the modern music industry.
