Burton Cummings: “Sometimes it feels like the songs are writing themselves”

In a video interview, iconic singer-songwriter, Guess Who founder and frontman, and SOCAN member Burton Cummings – winner of the 2018 SOCAN Lifetime Achievement Award – briefly discusses why he’s never spent more than an hour writing a song. He also tells the stories of how he met, and got to spend a little time with, legendary classic-rock-era superstars like Frank Zappa, and Jim Morrison of The Doors.
