Thierry LaroseOnce again this year, SOCAN is a partner in the Rendez-Vous Pros des Francos, the professional component of the Francophone music festival. The Rendez-Vous takes place Sept. 8-10, and will present panels and musical showcases, in addition to workshops. One of those showcases will be presented by SOCAN, and will feature the 2021 Prix de la chanson SOCAN winner Thierry Larose.

It was after Thierry Larose and his band’s wild performance at L’Astral in Montréal on Aug. 25, 2021, that SOCAN A&R Executive Sara Dendane, and Francophone Communications and Marketing Manager and Paroles & Musique Editor Eric Parazelli, presented him with the Yamaha keyboard and the $500 Long & McQuade gift card to add to the $5,000 cash prize that was presented to him on July 27, 2021.
