Even though Souldia is a veteran of Québec’s rap scene, no one creates their tenth album the same way they did their first. The trick is to avoid repeating oneself while preserving one’s creative passion. This challenge was brilliantly met by Souldia on his Dixque d’art project, which earned him the Album of the Year—Rap Félix Award during the Premier Gala de l’ADISQ held at MTELUS on Nov. 2, 2022. After he won this award, we spoke with Souldia who, earlier, at the Industry gala held at Club Soda, accepted, alongside the rest of his team, an honour in the category TV Show of the Year — Music, for the TV rap competition La fin des faibles
